Main Street Home Repairs replaced all the deck boards at this East Nashville home, then returned to paint the deck using a Sherwin-Williams SuperDeck coating. The project brought board replacement and finishing together, giving the deck a coordinated brown finish across the walking surface and railings.

The photos below show the replacement boards before painting, our crew applying the coating with an airless sprayer, and the coated deck floor and railings. If you need deck boards replaced and your deck painted in East Nashville, call 615-756-4353 to discuss your project.

Replacing the Deck Boards Before Painting

Our crew replaced all the deck’s walking-surface boards on August 27. We returned in late October to complete the painting, giving the replacement boards about two months to weather before applying the finish.

The photos below show the replacement boards before painting, alongside the existing railings. This stage shows the new decking already installed—not the original boards before removal.

Painting the Deck with Sherwin-Williams SuperDeck

Before spraying, we masked the siding and patio doors and covered the surrounding work area to help protect nearby surfaces from overspray. We then applied the Sherwin-Williams SuperDeck coating with an airless sprayer.

The Deck After Painting

The replacement deck boards and existing railings now have a coordinated brown finish. These photos show the coated walking surface and the deck’s exterior, with protective masking still in place around the house.
